DOTA has no single player, no story, no lore, nothing to do before a match.. WoW has more story than LOTR, missions, achievements, garrison, battle pets, alts to level up, etc. in a DOTA match, you have to ace your rotation a few times to get your team kills, in a WOW boss kill, you have to ace your rotation ALL the time to maximize your DPS
